Mabel
Privacy
Mabel is designed to help families discover activities in Brussels with as little personal data as possible. This page explains what we store, why we store it, and how to contact us if you want something removed.
What we collect
We may store the preferences you give us, such as commune, children’s ages, languages, and display settings.
If you create an account, we also store the authentication identifier and email address needed to let your setup follow you across devices.
Newsletter
If you opt in, we store your email address and consent metadata so we can remember that choice and export it to the newsletter tool we use.
The newsletter is optional and separate from account creation.
Analytics
We use lightweight first-party analytics to understand whether Mabel is useful. We focus on engaged visits rather than raw hits, and we avoid treating short bot sessions as real users.
When enabled, session replay tooling is initialized only after a visit appears genuine enough to matter for product feedback.
How we use data
- to personalize rankings and filters,
- to remember your setup across sessions or devices,
- to improve the quality of the product, and
- to send newsletter updates only when you explicitly opted in.
Your choices
You can use Mabel without creating an account. You can also choose not to opt into the newsletter.
If you want us to remove your account or newsletter subscription data, contact us and we will handle it manually.
